Our most anticipated feature: project templates!

by Thijs Kok, on July 30, 2019

It’s here: the moment you’ve been waiting for! We’re excited to announce one of our most anticipated features in TestMonitor: project templates. Templates allow you to create reusable project blueprints that can be deployed over and over again. This is going to change the way we test software!

Project templates can vary from a simple requirement set to a full-blown project setup with test cases and test runs, all ready to use. And while you can create your own templates, we’ll be publishing templates as well. You can start testing simply by picking one of our templates, assign some testers, and start a test run.

We’ve created a video that explains everything in a few minutes. We encourage you to watch it!

Test templates describe the test strategy, objectives, schedule, estimation and deliverables, and resources required for testing. They help to determine the effort needed to validate the quality of the application under test. A test template serves as a blueprint to conduct software testing activities as a defined process which is minutely monitored and controlled by the test manager. Templates are beneficiary to quality assurance managers, testmanagers and test users. Clarity and uniformity rule.
